Hello! This school year I am teaching Fifth Grade. This will be the seventh year I have taught Fifth Grade, in addition to teaching Kindergarten, Third, Fourth, and Sixth Grades. (There are some combo classes in there!) Here's a few fun facts about me.

I am originally from a tiny town called Machias, Maine.

I attended Colgate University in Hamilton, New York for my undergraduate degree (majoring in Sociology/Anthropology and Women's Studies) and San Diego State University in San Diego, California to get my teaching credentials in Elementary Education (K-8 self-contained and ESOL). I obtained my Master's Degree in The Social Foundations of Education at The University of Virginia.

I have earned teaching credentials in both Elementary Education and ESOL, teaching English Language Learners, using "sheltered" strategies.
